Cardinal Grosbeak - Birds of Pennsylvania - 1916

Cardinal Grosbeak is a rather plentiful resident in the lower half of Pennsylvania. The showy dress, the fine and varied vocal power of this shy and vivacious whistler, are such that it is one of the most common and entertaining birds.
