Fistulina Hepatica - Harper Publishers - 1895

Fistulina Hepatica is most commonly found in July to September on the stumps and trunks of oak and chestnut trees. Known for having an acidic taste, these mushrooms on average grow to six inches in diameter, but occasionally grow two to three times this size.
