Description
Marsh Hawk is found in Pennsylvania during the spring and fall around grassy meadow lands and about large streams. When flying, this species can easily be distinguished from other hawks by the upper tail coverts. This hawk feeds mainly on field mice, frogs, large insects, and occasionally small birds.
