Suspicious Boleti - Harper Publishers - 1895

Suspicious Boleti grows in rich woods about decaying trunks. This painting has two species, the Boletus Alveolatus, and the Felleus. The Felleus is known for having a bitter taste and reaches two to three inches in diameter. The Alveolate Boletus reaches three to six inches in diameter and is usually disproportionately long.
